Here's my piece from the "Dia de los Muertos" group show at Screaming Sky Gallery (In Portland, OR), last Fall. It's acrylic and oil-based paint marker on repurposed board from one of my wife's former retail jobs. This was the first time I had tried a piece with a cut out, dimensional element. The final size was 11 x 19 1/2".
The opening was a lot of fun. I got to see some really outstanding, diverse artwork and had the chance to hang out with some other local artists. Screaming Sky Gallery is at 1416 NE Alberta Street, Portland. If you're ever in the area, you should check it out.
